cm3 Acora CMS Professional Edition Licensing Rules

The Professional Edition of cm3 Acora CMS is available for those who wish to access a full suite of CMS capabilities at a lower price point. Constraints of the Professional Edition licence are outlined in this article.

All constraints could be overcome easily by upgrading to a higher product licence (if required).

  • Maximum 1 website installed, multi site capability disabled.(The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 500 users in the system. This limits the number of extranet users or member logins you could grow to. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 5 custom user groups in the system for setting different content viewing permissions. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 3 administrators/editors registered in the administrative back end, and under a support plan one of these accounts will be used by DDSN.
  • Maximum 1 user logged in to the administrative back end of the system concurrently. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 2 previous content versions visible (the two most recent versions) for comparison or revert on any individual piece of content. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 3 discussion forums. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 1 blog. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited. This module is being phased out due to expanding core CMS features.)
  • Maximum 1 RSS feed. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 5 forms online at any given moment. (Not counting fixed forms that are included included with the various modules. The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 1 stored backup. (The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Maximum 250 template elements and 50 content types for use by developers to extend your system if needed. (This is more than adequate for powerful websites. The Enterprise Edition is unlimited.)
  • Microsites management module not available.
  • Master/satellite site content transfer module not available.
  • Advanced data collector API not available.
  • Active Directory integration not available.
  • Single sign-on via various methods (AD, JWT, SAML2) not available.
  • Advanced scheduler module not available. (Some modules include scheduling capabilities, which are fully enabled. The advanced scheduler provides developers with an API to extend scheduling capabilities.)
  • XML/SOAP web service module (for integration with external systems) not available.
  • Dev/staging server licence not included. (However DDSN will provide a dev/staging server as part of your hosting and support plan.)
  • No guaranteed support for new modules.
